Ingredients

Ingredients
Half teaspoon
So Good Soy Original 1L, 100% Vegan Milk, Barista Edition 2 tablespoon
Bananas, sliced and frozen About 1 cups slices

Directions

Step 1

Peel the bananas and cut them into thin slices, approximately 1/4 inch thick. Place the banana slices on a pan lined with parchment paper and freeze them until they become solid. If you're not using them immediately, transfer the frozen banana slices to a zip-top bag for storage.

Step 2

In a blender container, combine the milk and vanilla extract. Add the frozen banana slices to the blender. Remove the plug from the blender lid, secure the lid tightly, and if available, insert the tamper. Start blending at a low speed and gradually increase it to high, while holding the lid firmly in place. Scrape down the sides of the blender as needed and repeat the blending process until a smooth puree is obtained.

Step 3

Transfer the frozen banana slices to a food processor bowl. Process the bananas in the food processor until they break down into small bits. Scrape down the sides of the bowl to ensure all the banana bits are incorporated. Add the vanilla extract and almond milk to the food processor. Continue processing until the mixture becomes smooth and creamy, making sure all the ingredients are well combined.

Step 4

Once the banana ice cream is free of lumps, you can either serve it immediately in bowls or transfer it to a storage tub for freezing. If you prefer a firmer texture, place the ice cream in the freezer for 30 minutes to 1 hour. If the ice cream is frozen solid, let it stand at room temperature for 30 minutes to 1 hour before serving to allow it to soften.
